Hey lovely folks! I’m so excited we are finally to my favorite season of the year: FALL!
This Autumn has been a bit different with the COVID factor, but we were still able to make it to our favorite orchard for some apple picking in our fabulous Misusu Dia sweatshirts (and Jalie 2918, more on that in a bit!)
I want to first to take an opportunity to wish my awesome, sweet and amazing Cheeks a Happy 5th Birthday this week. It’s hard to believe he’s already FIVE! And check out this shirt I made for him. :D
It’s a Jalie Nico, if you can believe it. :P Print is Lillestoff cotton/Lycra jersey and solids are from Purple Seamstress.
Like many folks I’ve been spending a lot of time at home this Summer, which translates into lots of sewing. I’ve often had a thoughts about sewing for the upcoming season to get maximum wear out of garments, but often seem to be playing catch up with my sewing. But not this time: here are my first transitional pieces for Autumn, entirely inspired by the wonderful sweater knits I kept spying at FabricMart.
Hello again, all of you lovely people! And a Happy Leap Day to ya!
Today I bring you one of my favorite Jalie patterns, as well as a Jalie I had put off making because I was intimidated by it. Also, a couple of pair of well intentioned but questionably hued leggings. Haha.
Back again to share some Mama and me goodness. This time with both of the kiddos! How in Hades’ name is Summer almost over?!
This tie dyed fabric is a soft, lovely rayon/lycra jersey from Fabric Mart (sponsored: Thanks FM!). The opacity felt sufficient for the tiny garments, but I was a little concerned it might be a bit too sheer for my own dress, so I lined in another light blue rayon/Lycra jersey.
