February Plans: Part Two

I shared my selfish sewing plans for the UFO retreat I’m attending, and now here are my unselfish sewing plans (minus a few which are surprises).

Speaking of UFOs:  today’s the last day to vote in the PR UFO contest.  I would be over the moon if you’d consider voting for my Christmas Quilt!

And now for the rest of my sewing plans…first up, what I plan to make for my sweet boy:  CHEEKS!  He’s good clothing-wise for the rest of winter and Wisconsin spring (which is all of like 3 weeks long), but needs some more stuff for Summer.

Here are my planned makes!  Links to fabric included, if they are still available.

We Come From the Land of Cheese – July 4th Edition

First off, Happy Independence Day to all of my ‘Merican friends!  Happy Birthday, America!

Happy Monday to everyone else.  :)

We also celebrated in another way…

But first, speaking of rolling things around in the noggin, I find myself “in my head” a lot; sometimes I think about things so much that I think I’ve spoken aloud about them to people (particularly, Mr. 5.  Apparently I do expect him to mind read).

This same introspection hinders my sewing greatly.  I think TOO much and do not act enough.  Part of it is being tired at the end of the weekday or busy on the weekend, but the other part is that I mull things to death (hullo, Master Procrastinator here) and then no work gets done on the pattern adjusting, fabric cutting, and most importantly:  the sewing.
