Where to look for the answer to “WTH does that mean?”

Big 4: The predominant commercial sewing pattern companies – Butterick, McCall’s, Simplicity and Vogue

CB: Center back of a garment.

FBA: Full bust adjustment. Big 4 patterns are made for ladies with a B cup; smaller and independent pattern companies vary. For a C cup or larger bust, fullness needs to be added in order for garments to fit properly. Alternately, an SBA is a small bust adjustment in case of a bust smaller than a B cup.

TNT:  Tried and true.  A pattern you’ve sewn up before, so you know fits you.  No muslins or additional monkeying around necessary!
